Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM), the EV arm of Jupiter Wagons Limited (JWL), aimed to create a future-forward brand for the commercial electric vehicle sector. The challenge was to design a brand identity that reflected innovation and sustainability while maintaining a professional connection to its parent company, JWL.
Strategy
We crafted a brand identity that merges modernity with JWL’s legacy. The logo features a custom typeface with an electric bolt integrated into the “I” of JEM, symbolizing the EV focus. The typography was bold to communicate strength and sleek to signify agility. We also developed a brand system using the “J” to represent intersecting roadways, showcasing the commercial vehicle sector, and a pattern inspired by a battery icon to emphasize the electric aspect. These elements were applied across collaterals, including business cards, banners, and digital assets. The brand was launched at Auto Expo Delhi, designed to create a futuristic and innovative brand experience.
Result
The brand launch received widespread media attention, leading to significant buzz in the market. JWL’s stock value tripled post-launch, signaling strong market confidence in the JEM brand and its potential in the commercial EV sector.
